Most consecutive games played by an NHL ice hockey defenceman

According to Official Guinness Records,

Jay Bouwmeester (Canada) played in 737 consecutive NHL regular-season games for the St. Louis Blues, Florida Panthers (both USA) and Calgary Flames (Canada) between 2002 and 2014 – the most by any defenseman in NHL history. The overall record is 964 straight games by Doug Jarvis (Canada).
