Most drink cans collected (8 hours)

According to Official Guinness Records,

The most aluminium cans collected in eight hours is 152,800 weighing 1,732 kg (3,820 lb) at Bosse Field, Evansville, Indiana, USA on 6 July 2003 at an event organised by Habitat for Humanity of Evansville.
The above record is based on the final weight of cans collected, although both the number and weight of cans should be provided in any submission. The event raised $3,360. Bosse Field was the baseball field featured in the 1992 film "A League of Their Own" starring Madonna, Gena Davies and Tom Hanks.
