Most Grand Slam singles tennis tournaments played consecutively

According to Official Guinness Records,

Feliciano López (Spain) has taken part in 67 consecutive Grand Slam tournaments, dating back to the French Open in 2002. His most recent outing was a first-round defeat to countryman Fernando Verdasco at the US Open on 27 August 2018. López has reached four Grand Slam quarter-finals – at Wimbledon in 2005, 2008 and 2011, and at the US Open in 2015.López made his main-draw Grand Slam debut at the 2001 French Open, but missed that year’s Wimbledon and US Open and the 2002 Australian Open before commencing his unbroken Slam streak on the clay courts of Roland Garros in 2002. Roger Federer (65 consecutive Grand Slams), Ai Sugiyama (62), Fernando Verdasco (62) and Francesca Schiavone (61) are the other players with 60+ consecutive appearances under their belts. Only Verdasco’s run is still active, as of the 2018 US Open.
With a total of 68 Grand Slam appearances to date, López is ranked eighth on the all-time list, behind the currently active Venus Williams (80), Federer (74) and Serena Williams (69), as well as Amy Frazier (71), Fabrice Santoro (70), Schiavone (70) and Mikhail Youzhny (69).
