The most participants in a hackathon is 2,950, achieved by the Saudi Federation for Cybersecurity, Programming and Drones (Saudi Arabia) in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, on 2 August 2018.The hackathon happened in partnership with Google in order to create an application for the hajj season.
