Most people buried in sand simultaneously

According to Official Guinness Records,

The most people buried in sand simultaneously is 684 and was achieved by Bora Bora (Ecuador) in Chipipe beach, Salinas, Ecuador, on 2 March 2013
Bora Bora is a brand of flip-flops and invited hundreds of families to the event and offered prizes for the most creative 'burial' - there were turtles, hearts, angels and lots of castles amongst other designs. Salinas is a popular weekend desitnation for people from the nearby city of Guayaquil.
