The most people hugging soft toys simultaneously is 261, achieved by Clifford H. Nowlin Middle School (USA) in Independence, Missouri, USA, on 13 December 2017. The participants were given the option to donate their soft toy after the attempt as a way to incorporate teamwork and giving into the lives of the students outside of the classroom.
