According to Official Guinness Records,

The most people painting their fingernails simultaneously is 1,956, achieved by Oye Foundation, Simran Jethwani and Polycab Wires Pvt. Ltd (all India) in Pune, India, on 11 February 2018. The event was organised to raise awareness of breast cancer prevention and treatment.
