Most people performing a kata

According to Official Guinness Records,

The most people performing a kata is 5,797 and was achieved by Thiruvananthapuram District Panchayat, All India Association of Sports for All, Asianet News Network Pvt. Ltd. and United SHITORYU Karate Association (all India), in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala, India, on 8 March 2018.The event was organised to celebrate the international Women's Day. The participants were all girls from local schools.
