According to Official Guinness Records,

The most people tossing skillets simultaneously was 266 residents of Brooks County at an event organized by the Destination Brooks, Quitman, Georgia, USA on 18 October 2013.
The record attempt coincided with the Brooks County Skillet Festival, a festival in its third year.
