According to Official Guinness Records,

Tom Hanks (USA) won Best Actor Academy Awards in two consecutive Oscar ceremonies (held in 1994 and 1995) for Philadelphia (USA, 1993) and Forrest Gump (USA, 1994), a record he shares with Spencer Tracy (USA), who won Best Actor in 1938 and 1939 for Captains Courageous (USA, 1937) and Boys Town (USA, 1938), respectively.
