The oldest adoptive parent is Muriel Banks Clayton (b. 22 July 1922, USA) who was aged 92 years 322 days when she officially adopted Mary Banks Smith (USA) in Dallas, Texas USA, on 9 June 2015.Mark Banks Smith also took the record for the oldest person to be adopted as she was 76 years 96 days when she was officially adopted by Muriel Banks Clayton.
