According to Official Guinness Records,

In October 2005, the world's oldest bowl of noodles was uncovered by archaelogists working at the Lajia archaeological site in northwestern China. The thin, yellow noodles (made from millet) were preserved under an upturned bowl, 3 m (10 ft) below the surface and have been aged to 4,000 years old!
