Oldest pitcher to record a shutout

According to Official Guinness Records,

At 47 years 170 days, Jamie Moyer (b. 18 November 1962, USA) of the Philadelphia Phillies (USA) became the oldest pitcher to throw a shutout, blanking the Atlanta Braves (USA) at Citizens Bank Ballpark in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania (USA), on 7 May 2010. Phil Niekro was the previous oldest at 46 years 188 days when he pitched a shutout for the New York Yankees against the Toronto Blue Jays in 1986.
