The oldest yoga teacher is Ida Herbert (Canada, b. 21 August 1916) who remains an active yoga teacher at the age of 95 years, 8 months, 26 days (as of 16 May 2012). She is a registered instructor at Orillia YMCA, in Orillia, Ontario, Canada.
