Tightrope walking - greatest distance in 24 hours

According to Official Guinness Records,

The greatest distance walked along a tightrope in 24 hours is 15.68 km (9.74 miles) and was achieved by Joey Kelly (Germany) on the set of RTL Spendenmarathon at MMC studios in Hürth, Germany, on 18-19 November 2010 in celebration of Guinness World Records Day 2010. The wire was 11 m (36 ft 1.07 in) long and hung 11 m (36 ft 1.07 in) above the ground.
Former singer and iron man Joey Kelly raised €90,000 (then £76,000, $119,000) for charity. A cheque was handed to Stiftung RTL in support several charity projects helping children in need.
