Fastest relay 4 x 800 metres (male)

According to Official Guinness Records,

The fastest men’s 4 x 800 m is 7 minutes 2.43 seconds, by a team representing Kenya (Joseph Mutua, William Yiampoy, Ismael Kombich, Wilfred Bungei) at the Van Damme Memorial IAAF Golden League meeting in Brussels, Belgium, on 25 August 2006. They broke Great Britain and Northern Ireland’s record of 7:03.89, which had stood for almost 24 years.
