According to Official Guinness Records,

HMS Dreadnought, commissioned in 1906 by the UK’s Royal Navy, revolutionised global battleship design. It was the first to dispense with medium calibre guns as main armaments, which it replaced with more large calibre main guns. In total, Dreadnought had 10 12-inch guns mounted in 5 turrets.
