First judicial single drug execution

According to Official Guinness Records,

On 8 December 2009, Kenneth Biros (USA), a 51-year old prisoner convicted of murdering a 22-year old woman in 1991, was executed in Ohio, USA, using a single large injection of anaesthetic. It is the first time that a single injection has been used in legal, judicial executions in a democratic state.
Normally a mixture of three drugs is used.
