First videogame to use serving soldiers as characters

According to Official Guinness Records,

Developed by the US military as a recruitment tool, America’s Army was the first videogame to use actual serving members of the army as characters, using the voices and likenesses of four real-life soldiers in the game’s “Real Heroes” update. None of the soldiers took an active combat role in the game, instead appearing as non-playable characters who answered player’s questions about the real US Army.
