According to Official Guinness Records,

On 13 February 2008, Zach Robinson from Washington, USA, fought his way to an impressivescore of 1,987,420,900 points on the arcade version of Capcom’s Marvel vs. Capcom 2 (2000). The attempt was made on the hardest difficulty setting and conducted under strict Twin Galaxies tournament rules.
