The Long Corridor in the Summer Palace in Beijing, China, runs for 728m 2388ft and is built entirely of wood and divided by crossbeams into 273 sections. The Long Corridor's crossbeams, as well as the ceiling and side pillars, have over 10,000 paintings of famous Chinese landscapes, episodes from folk tales, flowers and birds.
