Most combined yards from scrimmage in an NFL season

According to Official Guinness Records,

The most combined yards from scrimmage gained by a single player in an NFL season is 2,509 by Chris Johnson (USA) playing for the Tennessee Titans from 10 September 2009 to 3 January 2010. The running back totaled 2,006 yards rushing and 503 yards receiving to break the previous record of 2,429 by Marshall Faulk (USA) of the St. Louis Rams in 1999.
