According to Official Guinness Records,

Cheryl Ford (USA) set a postseason record with 23 rebounds for the Detroit Shock in a 70-59 victory over the Connecticut Sun in Game 1 of the Women's National Basketball Association Eastern Conference finals on 24 August 2006.
