The most people applying moisturiser is 1,068 and was achieved by Alberto Pazzaglia (Italy) and The European Shoe Machinery Co. Ltd (UK) in San Mauro Mare, Emilia Romagna, Italy, on 9 Aug 2009. '...On the day of the event all the staff/organizers were trying their best to bring as many people down onto the beach to take part as possible, the sun was shining, the people were happy and both record attempts fast approaching, there was a lot of media present, journalists from local and national news papers along with TV news crews, and therefore adding to the suspense. The first record attempt was for the ?Most People Applying Moisturiser? so when Alberto was ready he lined everyone up along the beach front in single file, with only their feet in the water ready to start, after I had checked all the stewards were happy and everyone had moisturiser I started the attempt with one loud whistle followed by Alberto?s hit song ?Spalma La Cream?...' by Carl Saville
