Most Tony Awards won for Best Actor in a play

According to Official Guinness Records,

Six actors share the honour of winning two Tony Awards in the category of Best Performance by a Leading Actor in a Play: Alan Bates (UK) for Fortune's Fool (2002) and Butley (1972), Brian Dennehy (USA) for Death of a Salesman (1999) and Long Day's Journey into Night (2003), José Ferrer (USA/Puerto Rico) for Cyrano de Bergerac (1946) and The Shrike (1952), Judd Hirsch (USA) for Conversations with my Father (1992) and I'm Not Rappaport (1986), James Earl Jones (USA) for The Great White Hope (1969) and Fences (1987), and Frederic March (USA) for Years Ago (1947) and Long Day's Journey into Night (1957).
